This indicator has been developed from the target: "assist developing countries in attaining long-term debt sustainability through coordinated policies aimed at fostering debt financing, debt relief and debt restructuring, as appropriate, and address the external debt of highly indebted poor countries to reduce debt distress," which is a component of the Global Goal for Sustainable Development: Partnership for the Goals. World Leaders have committed to 17 Global Goals to achieve 3 extraordinary things in the next 15 years. End extreme poverty. Fight inequality & injustice. Fix climate change. The Global Goals for Sustainable Development could get these things done. In all countries. For all people. For more information on the Global Goals see: http://www.globalgoals.org/. This indicator has been developed from targets designed to measure progress towards Global Goal 17: Partnership for the Goals.
