Description

This indicator describes the number of anti-social behaviour incidences. Crime statistics are notoriously unreliable. It would be useful to use a combination of police records and British Crime Survey. Although they often record different values, it would be important to make sure that they were both moving in the right direction. This would require a combination of reported crime statistics and perceptions of how people experienced crime and anti-social behaviour. In order for people to be safe, they need to feel safe, therefore it is important to include the objective as well as subjective.
