The aim of this research is to consider the range of costs and benefits that may be experienced by single homeless people moving into formal employment, and the wider social costs and benefits of them entering work. Drawing upon the views of homeless people staying in London hostels, senior stakeholders from across the sector and upon new economic analysis, the study draws out the key impacts of work, both financial and non-financial, for single homeless people and for society.
